It's hard to not feel hate, anger or vengeance against such people as the man who attacked Andrew Anthos .
Instead, please simply urge your Congressman to pass a Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
I prefer a Honor All People Act but until then, a hate crimes prevention act will have to do.

I guess I don't "get" the whole "hate crimes legislation" thing.
The type of animal who would crack Andrew Anthos upside the head with a lead pipe is not going to be deterred by a bit of extra time on his sentence. And, to avoid same, all he has to do is keep his big ugly mouth shut while beating the man to death.
